Success Esports carries forward the identity of an organization built within the amateur competitive Call of Duty community. Its history includes different names, leadership groups, periods of growth, and moments of transition.
The current organization recognizes that history as an important part of the 6s identity while building a more structured and sustainable foundation for the future.
Organization Timeline
October 14, 2013
Success Gaming was originally founded and established by Awaken 6s. During the months that followed, the organization became active within the amateur competitive Call of Duty community.
Success Gaming participated in online competition, tournaments, and community activity while building an identity around the 6s name.
Early 2014
The organization entered a period of transition when its original owner and founder resigned.
Teddy “Heisman” Johnson, who had served within the organization as Co-Owner and Co-Founder, assumed responsibility for Success Gaming before the organization was eventually disbanded.
February 2, 2015
Success Esports was officially re-established by Teddy “Heisman” Johnson, Jayson “Cyan” Adams, and Servando “Insomniak” Reyes.
The re-established organization continued the Success identity and renewed its presence within the competitive Call of Duty community.
New Chapter
In 2026, Success Esports entered another chapter under an updated operational structure led by the current Command Officer and Operations Officer.
The organization is preserving its historic identity while developing modern systems for leadership, recruitment, competitive operations, content creation, community standards, branding, and long-term development.
A Guiding Principle
We do not define Success by claiming to be better than everyone pursuing similar goals. We aim to embrace the gaming community and give people the opportunity to strive for success.
This principle continues to shape the modern direction of Success Esports. The organization is being rebuilt around opportunity, community, development, and shared ambition.
